Away on vacation, gone for the winter, traveling for work, own a second home, or in the hospital? We check on your home and send you time-stamped photos after every visit.

Interior Check

We enter with your key or code
Look for leaks under sinks and around the water heater
Heat and thermostat at your set temperature (helps prevent frozen pipes in winter)
Signs of pests
Power out or tripped breakers
Smoke or CO detector chirping
Run faucets and flush toilets briefly
Rotate lights or blinds for a lived-in look
Water plants
Photo report after each visit

Key holder service

Scheduling

One-time, weekly, or twice weekly. Or give us the dates of your trip and we will set the visits around them.

How it works

Book. Tell us your dates, the type of check, and how often.
Key or code handoff. Hand us a key, share a door code, or leave a key in a lockbox.
Check-in reports. After each visit you get a report by text or email with time-stamped photos.
If we find a problem. We call you. With your OK, we call your listed contractor or emergency contact. We do not do repairs ourselves.

Winter tip: many home insurance policies have rules about homes that are vacant or unheated for a period of time. Check your policy to see if regular checks are required.

Important limits

Runners are not contractors, home inspectors, or security guards.
Checks are visual only. We do not open walls, test systems, or move heavy items.
We do not guarantee we will catch every problem.
A home check is not insurance or a warranty, and none is implied.
We do not do repairs. If something needs fixing, we contact you and, with your OK, your contractor or emergency contact.
